Dimon's AI Security Push: JPMorgan CEO Reaches Out to US Business Leaders
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is leading an effort to broaden an industry coalition focused on artificial intelligence risks. The initiative, which began in July, aims to strengthen collaboration on safeguarding critical infrastructure.
Dimon has personally contacted the heads of major banks, regional lenders, and information technology companies, encouraging them to join an expanded version of the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI). The outreach has so far covered more than 40 companies across sectors including financial services, energy, water, utilities, telecommunications, airlines, and railroads.
The push comes amid growing concerns over cyber threats, including recent attacks targeting water systems in Minnesota and other US states. Dimon said the ACI leadership recognised the importance of prioritising artificial intelligence years ago and had brought critical infrastructure companies together.
