Disable Google Gemini Across Your Account

Google's Gemini AI has become ubiquitous across various Google services, including Gmail. While some users find it useful, others prefer to disable it. Fortunately, there is a way to turn off Gemini across your Google account.

To do this, sign into Gmail using the web interface on your laptop or desktop, or mobile browser on your phone. Navigate to Settings and choose See All Settings. In the General tab, scroll down to the section labeled 'Google Workspace smart features' and select Manage Workspace smart feature settings.

A pop-up will appear showing options for Gemini assistance. The first toggle controls Gemini in Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Google Docs, and others. Disable this toggle to remove Gemini from Gmail.
