Disney+ and Hulu Land iHeartMedia Podcasts
iHeartMedia has partnered with The Walt Disney Company to bring six podcasts to Disney+ and Hulu. This move is designed to capture viewers on mobile devices and beyond.
The partnership will initially feature two video podcasts: 'Hey Jonas!' hosted by the Jonas Brothers, which will be available on both streaming services, and 'Pod Meets World,' hosted by the cast of 'Boy Meets World,' which will appear exclusively on Disney+ later this month.
The agreement also includes four other iHeartMedia podcasts that will come to Hulu in the fall: 'Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald,' 'Desperately Devoted,' a show about drama series 'Desperate Housewives,' 'StraightioLab,' which explores straight culture, and 'Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim.'
This is not the first time Disney has ventured into podcasting. The company already offers 30 podcasts on its streaming services in the US.
