Disney+ and Hulu Turn D23 into Global Fan Celebration

The Walt Disney Company is taking its D23 fan event to new heights by offering exclusive experiences and streaming content for both in-person attendees and viewers at home. Disney+ and Hulu have teamed up to bring the celebration to Anaheim and the world, with a range of panels, presentations, and on-site activities.

For fans tuning in remotely, Disney+ will be streaming select panels and showcase presentations globally starting August 14th. The first event will be the 'Beauty and the Beast: A Tale as Old as Time 35th Anniversary Celebration' at 2/1c. Other highlights include the 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 3 Panel', the 'Disney Rewind Encore Concert', and the 'Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase'.

At the Anaheim Convention Center, attendees can enjoy a range of experiences, including a 4D theater, mystery pin quest, subscription support, and photo-ops inspired by popular shows. Exclusive merchandise will also be available for purchase, featuring collaborations with Hulu and Disney+. The Disney+ Perks Treat Truck will operate near the Downtown Disney District monorail security checkpoint, offering themed donuts and collectible patches.

Eligible members who redeemed a complimentary D23 Gold membership can attend an invite-only breakfast on Saturday, August 15th, featuring photo-ops and more. The Hulu Animayhem celebration will also take place throughout the month at the Downtown Disney District, with themed menu items and a custom chalk art installation.

For subscribers who want to enjoy perks from home, Disney+ Perks At Home launches on August 14th, allowing eligible members to claim a digital pin from Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs and access new perks online from collaborators like ESPN College Football and Marvel Studios at disneyplus.com/perks.
