Disney and Pixar Unveil Wave of Animated Features and Sequels
At the recent D23 Entertainment Showcase, Disney and Pixar unveiled several new animated features and sequels. One of the most notable announcements was Clay, a new original film from Walt Disney Animation Studios directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn. The movie follows Flip, a reluctant mentor voiced by Kieran Culkin, as he guides a young ball of clay named Mushy on a chaotic and life-changing adventure.
Another highly anticipated sequel is Zootopia 3, which has officially entered development. While no story details or release date were revealed, Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan are set to reprise their roles as Judy Hopps and Gary De'Snake.
Pixar's Ghost Market, scheduled for spring 2028, marks the studio's first foray into supernatural storytelling. The film follows a young content creator named Kyle who stumbles upon a hidden market at the crossroads of the living and the dead in Hawaii.
