Disney and TikTok Partner for Creator-Focused Video Deal
The Walt Disney Company and TikTok have formed a partnership that will allow creators on the popular social media platform to use Disney characters in their videos.
The new deal gives TikTok creators access to memorable scenes and moments from Disney movies and shows, which they can use to create content for both TikTok and Verts, a new vertical video feed on Disney+.
The agreement will launch in the U.S. in the coming months, with plans to expand to other markets.
'The best storytellers are fans first,' said Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer at The Walt Disney Company. 'This collaboration creates a new bridge between the stories we tell and the creativity they inspire.'
