Disney Announces Audition Cities for Character Performers
The Disney College Program is now accepting applications for its spring 2027 semester. As part of this internship, participants will work in Walt Disney World's theme parks or hotels and live in dedicated apartments near Disney property.
For those interested in becoming character performers during their time on the program, an additional step must be completed in the application process. To cast these performers for the spring 2027 semester, Disney will hold auditions in five cities across the US.
The audition locations and dates are as follows: Kissimmee (Orlando), Florida on September 24; New York City on October 3; Chicago on October 4; Nashville on October 5; and Atlanta on October 6. At these auditions, applicants will be asked to learn and perform a brief dance combination, as well as other movement combinations.
It's worth noting that performance experience is not necessary for the character performer role. However, those who are selected must also accept an offer into the College Program before being assigned to this role.
