Disney Announces Wave of New Attractions and Experiences Across Its Parks

The Disney Experiences Showcase at D23 was an unforgettable night of excitement and announcements. Hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, the evening featured a show-stopping opening tribute to Disney Audio-Animatronics, including surprise special guests Darren Criss, Skylar Astin, Megan Hilty, Tig Notaro, and Jack McBrayer.

Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences for The Walt Disney Company, welcomed the crowd and highlighted the importance of fan connection in shaping the future of Disney Experiences. He emphasized that events like D23 allow fans to celebrate their love for Disney while sharing visions for the future.

The showcase featured numerous announcements, including a second season of The Imagineering Story on Disney+, new attractions and experiences at Disneyland Resort, and updates to existing lands such as Tomorrowland. Notable mentions include Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab coming to Avengers Campus in 2028, the reimagining of Coco at Disney California Adventure, and a reimagined Tomorrowland.

Additionally, there were announcements for Magic Kingdom, including the introduction of new characters to Carousel of Progress, and new experiences in Villains Land. The showcase also highlighted upcoming projects such as Hyperspace Mountain's makeover into Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune at Disneyland Paris, a The Lion King attraction at Disney Adventure World, and a brand-new Space Mountain adventure at Tokyo Disneyland.
