Disney Attractions Shift from Live Cast Members to Pre-Recorded Announcements

The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios has undergone a change in its pre-show experience. A live Cast Member is no longer present to give guests safety information and instructions before entering Studio C.

Instead, a pre-recorded voice over plays the announcement, which includes basic safety guidelines such as standing behind the yellow line and not sitting or standing on handrails. The change has been implemented at multiple attractions in recent years, including Country Bear Jamboree at Magic Kingdom and It's Tough to Be a Bug at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The pre-recorded voice over at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster plays the following announcement:

Welcome to G-Force Records. In just a moment, you'll be heading into our largest recording studio. Please stand behind the yellow line. When the studio doors open toward you, please step carefully and fill in all available space. Do not sit or stand on the handrails. And as a courtesy to the band, please no flash photos or video lighting inside Studio C.
