Disney+ August Arrivals Bring New Original Content to Canada
Disney+ subscribers in Canada are in for a treat this August as new original content is set to arrive. Among the highlights include the return of 'Camp Rock', an exclusive episode of 'The Simpsons', and the revival of 'Futurama' and 'Adults.'
FX's 'Time & Water,' a documentary that explores Icelandic poet Andri Snær Magnason's journey as he constructs a time capsule to preserve his homeland, is also set to premiere. The series uses traditional songs and folktales to interlace the author's family story with the changing landscape of Iceland.
Other notable additions include 'Furious', a series that follows an FBI agent on the hunt for a mysterious serial killer; 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place', which sees Billie reunite with her long-lost father in an effort to rescue Alex from evil forces; and 'Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear,' a documentary that chronicles the musician's journey after surviving a devastating plane crash.
The month will also see several series conclude their runs, including 'Betrayal: Dirty Secrets' and 'Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro.'
