Disney Believe Set to Debut in Late 2027 with Unique Theme and Design Features
The Disney Believe, set to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet in late 2027, is gaining attention for its unique theme and design features. The ship's Grand Hall will be infused with the optimistic spirit of exploration from Walt Disney Animation Studios' Moana films.
A bronze cast statue of Moana accompanied by her faithful companions Pua and HeiHei will serve as a focal point in the venue, gazing proudly forward to new horizons. The artwork for the Grand Hall features layers of artisanal Polynesian finishes that honor the cultural traditions of the region.
The exterior of the Disney Believe's hull will also feature unique character artwork, continuing a Disney Cruise Line tradition. A rendering of the larger-than-life sculptures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear on the stern of the ship shows them working together to etch the ship's name across the back of the vessel with large yellow crayons.
Claire Weiss, Portfolio Executive Creative Director, described the ship as celebrating 'belief in magic, family, the power of nature, and belief in yourself.' She emphasized that all stories told on board will be tied together by the core Disney notion of believing in something fantastical.
