Disney Celebrates Anaheim Residents with Joyful Community Events

The Disneyland Resort celebrated Anaheim residents in grand style on August 27 with the 'Happiest Day in Anaheim.' The day's festivities began at the Ponderosa Family Resource Center, where over 125 senior citizens participated in a yoga session led by Disney VoluntEARS from Tenaya Stone Spa. Later that day, more than 400 students across seven grade levels enjoyed a Disney-themed field day at Danbrook Elementary School.

Disneyland Resort provided supplies to four local libraries and two additional senior communities so they could host their own Disney celebrations. The day culminated with 'Main Street on Your Street,' which brought Main Street, U.S.A., elements to Center Greens Park for over 3,000 Anaheim residents.
