Disney Celebrates Hispanic & Latin American Heritage with Magia Across the Resort
Walt Disney World is celebrating Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month with Together We Are Magia, a month-long event featuring various experiences across the resort. The celebration includes cuisine options and music that bring Hispanic and Latin American traditions and cultures to life.
Luis Fonsi, the 'Despacito' singer, recently visited Walt Disney World to celebrate the occasion. He shared his love of music, family, and his Puerto Rican roots, stating, 'It's an honor to be part of this celebration and to share all the magia that happens when we come together as one.' Fonsi experienced ¡Celebración Encanto! at EPCOT, where he met Mirabel and Bruno and enjoyed music and dancing from the Storytellers and Primos.
Guests can experience the sounds of Latin American cultures at Eat to the Beat Concert Series at EPCOT, featuring artists such as Latin Ambition, Grupo Mania, Metro Latino Band, Rey Ruiz, and Viva Latina. At Magic Kingdom, the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade features characters like Mirabel from Encanto, Miguel from Coco, Princess Elena of Avalor, José Carioca, Panchito, and more.
