Disney Celebrates World Princess Week with Magical Events

Walt Disney World recently celebrated World Princess Week at Give Kids The World Village in KISSIMMEE, Fla. The event honored children with critical illnesses and their families with fairytale-themed activities.

The celebration was held as part of Walt Disney World's long-standing partnership with Give Kids The World, which has been working together for 40 years to create wish experiences for children and their families.

Disney says that thousands of children with critical illnesses choose Disney Princess stories and characters as part of their wish experiences. In fact, a Disney wish is granted somewhere around the world every hour of every day.
