Disney+ Celebrates World Princess Week with New Releases and Milestone Anniversaries
Disney+ is celebrating World Princess Week from August 16 to 22, honoring the legacy of its beloved Disney Princesses. One of the highlights includes a new short film called 'Once a Princess, Always a Princess,' which tells the story of two young girls who form a magical bond through their shared love of Disney Princesses.
The Sofia the First: Royal Magic series is also getting new episodes, where Princess Sofia attends her new school and learns to master her powers alongside new royal friends. LEGO Disney Princess: Magical Mayhem will be released on August 21, featuring the princess characters helping animals in need.
Two classic Disney Princess favorites are celebrating milestone anniversaries this year: Beauty and the Beast (1991) is turning 35 years old, while Moana (2016) is marking its 10th anniversary. The Princesses Stream is available now on Disney+, offering a curated selection of movies and shows for fans to enjoy.
