Disney Class-Action Settlement Deadline Looms for Streaming Subscribers
A $50 million class-action settlement involving The Walt Disney Company may bring payments to some current and former streaming subscribers. People who purchased YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream subscriptions between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2026, are eligible for a cash payment.
The deadline to submit a claim is Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Claims can be submitted online, while mailed claim forms must be postmarked by the same date.
The settlement stems from an antitrust lawsuit against Disney, alleging that the company engaged in practices that increased prices for streaming live pay television. Disney has denied any wrongdoing and the case is being resolved through the settlement rather than a trial.
Eligible subscribers can submit a claim through the official Biddle v. Disney settlement website or by mail to P.O. Box 4720 Portland, OR 97208-4720.
