Disney Confirms 'Zootopia 3' as Next Installment in Blockbuster Franchise

Disney has confirmed that 'Zootopia 3' is in development. The announcement was made during the D23 Disney films event on Friday night, with voice actors Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan revealing the project's title treatment.

The third installment of the Zootopia franchise will introduce birds to the world of Zootopia, following the success of the first two films. The first 'Zootopia' grossed over $1 billion worldwide, while its sequel, 'Zootopia 2', made over $850 million more than the original.

The franchise has also expanded beyond film, with a Disney+ series and several theme park attractions, including Zootopia: Hot Pursuit at Shanghai Disneyland and the 3D animated movie Zootopia: Better Zoogether! at Disney's Animal Kingdom park in Orlando, Florida.
