Disney Cracks Down on Remote Work with New Return to Office Policy

The Walt Disney Company is tightening its belt when it comes to remote work. According to Business Insider, the company is implementing a new policy that requires most Cast Members to return to the office at least four days a week.

This move follows a previous policy instituted by CEO Bob Iger in 2023, which also required Cast Members to spend at least four days per week working from the office. However, this policy had exceptions that allowed some employees to continue working primarily from home.

Now, it seems those exceptions are being eliminated, affecting product and tech employees the most. The new rules aim to standardize the Return to Office (RTO) policy across all departments and levels of management.
