The Walt Disney Company has announced its autumn theatrical calendar for 2026, which includes seven titles between September 4 and November 6. The list reveals that Disney's studios have already crossed $4 billion at the global box office for the year. This milestone is attributed to the combined performance of its winter, spring, and summer releases.

Among the seven titles listed, only two are new narrative features: 'Whalefall' and 'Wild Horse Nine'. The rest consist of a twentieth-anniversary re-release of 'Cars', a re-release of 'Avengers Endgame', and three documentaries. The autumn slate is weighted towards music, sport, mountaineering, and superhero nostalgia.

Disney's summer titles, including 'Toy Story 5', have contributed significantly to the $4 billion figure. 'Toy Story 5' passed $1.1 billion at the global box office and recorded the largest opening weekend in the franchise's history domestically, internationally, and globally.
