Disney Enacts Transportation Restrictions During Halloween Season
The Halloween season has brought new challenges to navigating Walt Disney World's transportation network. With Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party running through October 31, 2026, guests are staying out later than usual, making planning a crucial part of their evening.
One restriction that can catch guests off guard is the requirement for proof to ride buses from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels. Guests must show a valid resort room key, dining reservation, or experience reservation before boarding. This policy applies not only to bus transportation but also to the Sassagoula River Cruise.
Another important consideration is the ban on alcohol aboard Walt Disney World Resort transportation. Guests can't bring their drinks along for the ride, whether they're heading back to their hotel or resort-hopping around the property.
