Disney Extends Extra Evening Hours to Animal Kingdom Through 2027
The scheduling inconsistency of Extended Evening Hours (ExEH) at Walt Disney World has been resolved. The perk will continue at Animal Kingdom every Wednesday from November 4, 2026, until January 2027. This follows a period where the schedule was all over the place after Magic Kingdom stopped hosting ExEH for the year.
The calendar update shows that Magic Kingdom is still hosting ExEH on September 9, but after that date, it's unlikely to return until January 2027. The other two parks, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, will alternate hosting duties between now and then.
Disney's Hollywood Studios will host ExEH every second week from August 26 to October 28, while Animal Kingdom takes over for the rest of that period. This is a change from previous years when DHS would host ExEH during party season. The reason for this shift is due to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
