Disney Fandom Reigns Supreme at D23 Fan Event
The D23 fan event is back for its biggest show yet, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center in California from August 14-16. The annual celebration of all things Disney has attracted over 1.8 million members worldwide and promises to be a weekend filled with movie and theme park announcements, panels and shows, and immersive experiences.
The event's name is derived from the year Walt Disney founded the company in 1923. D23 offers advanced screenings, exclusive sweepstakes, and other perks for its members. This year's show boasts the largest floor in its history, covering almost 1 million square feet of the Anaheim Convention Center.
Over 120 stars will make appearances at the event, including cast members from popular shows like 'Scrubs' and 'The Simpsons', as well as musicians such as the Jonas Brothers. The Disney Entertainment Showcase is scheduled for Friday evening at 7 p.m. PT at the Honda Center, featuring exclusive sneak peeks, star-studded performances, and announcements about upcoming projects.
