Disney Fans Solve Riddle Mystery, Uncover Stolen Artifact
Walt Disney Imagineering has been engaging fans in a mystery surrounding the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.). The company released a series of riddles designed to lead amateur detectives to a character who stole an artifact meant for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The first three riddles have been solved, with each answer being a single letter that spells out the name of the guilty party.
A new post on the Laughing Place website provides a breakdown of everything that has happened so far via a 'conspiracy board.' Bonnie Booker, the S.E.A. character guiding the mystery, reveals the answers to the three riddles and shares an 'old' newspaper related to the case. The article mentions the Ridge Jewel, which may be the stolen artifact.
The game seems to be setting the stage for new details about attractions like the Jungle Cruise and the Matterhorn. Although the Matterhorn isn't currently an S.E.A.-themed attraction, it was indicated at D23 that this would change in the future.
