Disney Files Permits for Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT Updates

Disney has filed new construction permits for three of its theme parks in Florida. The permits are for Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT.

The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios is getting some maintenance or updates, according to the permit. It's unclear what exactly will be done, but it will likely involve labor, material, and/or electrical work.

Meanwhile, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel site is being transformed into office space for Disney Imagineers. A general construction permit was renewed for this project to last until 2027.

At EPCOT, Spaceship Earth is getting new signage, which usually involves replacing older signs and installing identical ones overnight. This means that the ride will still be available during its refurbishment announced at D23.
