Disney Fire Department Updates Exterior Branding After RCID Name Change
The Walt Disney World Fire Department has updated its exterior to reflect the name change of its parent district from Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) to Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD).
When RCID was renamed CFTOD in 2023, all organizations under this district were required to update their branding. The fire department's previous exterior featured large 'RCFD' letters on the side and front of its building, along with a yellow fire hat decorated with RCFD branding.
The updated exterior now shows only the letters 'FD' or 'Fire Department,' with the RCFD letters removed from the front of the building. The red rectangular sign out front has also been revised to display the CFTOD name and logo.
