Disney Fireworks Testing to Continue Late into Night for Select Resorts
Disney World has issued an official warning to guests staying at several Deluxe Resorts about upcoming fireworks testing at EPCOT. The notice warns that guests may hear 'sporadic fireworks' during a three-and-a-half-hour window from 10 p.m. on September 1 until 1:30 a.m. on September 2.
The affected resorts are Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and the nearby Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels. Guests staying at these properties may be able to hear the fireworks testing from their rooms due to the close proximity of EPCOT.
This situation is unusual because Disney typically only tests fireworks during the park's normal nighttime spectacular hours, around 9 p.m. However, on September 1, the testing will continue long after the regular show has ended.
