Disney Grand Floridian Cafe Reopening on November 2nd After Three-Month Refurbishment
The Walt Disney World's Grand Floridian Cafe is set to reopen on November 2nd after a three-month refurbishment that started in mid-July. The cafe, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, has been closed since July 20th and its refurbishment was initially expected to be completed by the end of October.
During the closure, brunch service was temporarily moved upstairs to Citricos. Now that dinner hours have been added back in on November 2nd, it's likely that brunch will return to its usual first-floor space once the refurbished cafe welcomes guests again.
The refurbishment is part of a larger refresh at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which includes renovations to select spots such as the covered entrance. These renovations are expected to continue through early 2027, and guests may still encounter construction work or altered walking paths around the property even after the cafe reopens.
