Disney Guests Clashing Over Line Cutting Behavior

The issue of line cutting at Disney parks has become increasingly prevalent and heated in recent times. Guests are getting into fights over this behavior, with some incidents going viral online. At Disneyland and Walt Disney World, line cutting is when guests intentionally move ahead of others who have been waiting in a queue.

Some examples include walking past a large portion of the line to meet up with friends or family, or having someone hold a place in line while a larger group joins later. This behavior can be frustrating for those who have waited patiently in line and is often met with resentment from other guests.

In some cases, these confrontations have escalated into heated arguments and even physical altercations. According to the official Disney website, there is no standalone 'no line cutting' rule. However, designated attraction entrances are not intended to be used to bypass the wait, and auxiliary entrances are also not meant to bypass waiting lines.

Disney's Attraction Queue Re-Entry Policy allows guests with specific needs to exit the queue and re-enter prior to boarding the ride. However, joining someone who is already far ahead in a queue is technically not the same as using Disney's approved queue re-entry or meet-up procedures.
