Disney Hikes Parade Viewing Fee to $22 at Tokyo Disneyland
Disney fans are expressing frustration and disappointment over the latest price hike at Tokyo Disneyland. The theme park has introduced a $22 fee for premium parade viewing, which will be locked behind a paywall. This new fee comes after the park increased entry costs, with adult tickets rising by up to 1,500 yen to up to 12,400 yen due to administrative and labor cost increases.
The Tokyo Disney Resort has also rolled out dynamic pricing, where adult tickets can cost anywhere between 7,900 yen and 10,900 yen, depending on factors such as weekends, holidays, and heavy crowd forecasts. Additionally, the company has added new parking fees at the resort, boosting costs by 1,000 yen.
Disney fans from all over the world have taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the price hike, with one fan writing 'Stupid!!!' on Facebook in response to an article about the fee. Another fan commented 'Price hike is wild for Halloween.'
