Disney Hints at Possible Kingdom Hearts Movie Amid Anime Series and Game Release Plans

Walt Disney Animation Studios' Creative Director Jared Bush has hinted at the possibility of a Kingdom Hearts movie, despite no official announcement yet. When asked about a feature film adaptation, Bush remained non-committal but gave fans hope by saying 'nothing is impossible.' This came as part of a broader discussion on the studio's upcoming projects and content releases.

The Disney+ anime series, created in collaboration with Kingdom Hearts IV developers and featuring an original story, is already in the works. Tetsuya Nomura, creator of the series, is also involved in its production. This new project will join Kingdom Hearts IV, which was showcased at D23 and confirmed for release in late 2027.

The upcoming game promises to implement one of the ideas that had to be abandoned during the creation of Kingdom Hearts III, with a world inspired by the animated film 'Coco' being presented. Fans can look forward to more information on this project as its development continues.
