Disney Honors Bob Iger with Personalized Main Street Window
The Walt Disney Company honored former CEO Bob Iger by dedicating a personalized window on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. The window is located above the entrance of the Emporium and features Iger's motto: 'Looking forward to your tomorrow!' It highlights his leadership approach with descriptors such as 'courageous,' 'confidence,' 'excellence,' 'innovation,' 'curiosity,' and 'optimism.'
Iger expressed gratitude for the honor, saying it was a dream come true. He mentioned that being part of this tradition is special to him, considering he's among other legendary Disney figures whose names are emblazoned on Main Street windows.
Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro also paid tribute to Iger, praising his vision and leadership in expanding Disney storytelling globally and emphasizing creativity and innovation. He recalled how Cast Members greeted Iger like a rock star during Disneyland's 70th anniversary celebration last year.
