Disney Honors Industry Legends at Star-Studded Ceremony
The Walt Disney Company is set to honor its most influential figures at the upcoming Disney Legends Awards ceremony. This year's honorees include Anne Hathaway, Bob Iger, Dwayne Johnson, the Jonas Brothers, and Lin-Manuel Miranda among others.
The Disney Legends Awards program began in 1987 with actor Fred MacMurray as the first recipient. Including this year's class, a total of 329 people have been named Disney Legends.
The ceremony is taking place during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which showcases upcoming movies, shows, experiences, and products while honoring the company's history.
