Disney Honors Its Stars and Leaders with 2026 Disney Legends Award Recipients

The Walt Disney Company will honor some of its biggest stars and leaders at the 2026 Disney Legends Awards ceremony. The event, which takes place on Sunday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, will recognize individuals who have made a lasting impact on the company's legacy.

Among the 11 honorees are Anne Hathaway, Bob Iger, Dwayne Johnson, the Jonas Brothers, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. They join a list of 329 Disney Legends, including previous recipients such as Robin Roberts, Julie Andrews, James Cameron, George Lucas, and Robin Williams.

The Disney Legends Awards program began in 1987 with actor Fred MacMurray being the first recipient. The ceremony is taking place during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where the company previews upcoming movies, shows, experiences, and products.
