Disney Hosts College Baseball Showdown in Orlando
The 2027 Orlando Baseball Classic will bring together six college baseball teams to Walt Disney World Resort property at The Stadium in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
From February 26 through February 28, the West Virginia Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Panthers, arch-rivals in the Backyard Brawl rivalry, will face off. In 2026, West Virginia made a historic run to the College World Series for the first time in program history, winning two games against Troy.
The UCF Knights, with a strong 2026 season, will also be participating in the event. They finished with a 32-23 overall record and an impressive 19-11 mark in Big 12 play.
Rounding out the field are Michigan, St. John's, and Indiana State. Michigan represents the Big Ten, while St. John's is coming off a regional title and super regional appearance in 2026. Indiana State looks to bounce back from consecutive seasons without an NCAA Tournament appearance.
