Disney Imagineering Unveils Behind-the-Scenes Peeks at Highly Anticipated Projects

Walt Disney Imagineering has released a new episode of their 'Pardon Our Pixie Dust' series, showcasing behind-the-scenes construction progress on several highly anticipated projects across Disney Experiences.

The video features three key developments: the Lakeshore Lodge resort, Magic of Disney Animation attraction at Hollywood Studios, and the pathway connecting Avengers Campus and Cars Land at California Adventure.

At Lakeshore Lodge, fans can see the construction of giant otter sculptures for the 'Otter Springs' splash pad area. The two otters, named Addie and Bonnie, are themed after Pocahontas and will be made from Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Panels with textured details to resemble natural wood.

Meanwhile, Imagineering gave viewers a sneak peek at the atrium courtyard of Magic of Disney Animation, which draws inspiration from the 'Once Upon a Studio' short film. The entrance is designed to be a standout photo opportunity, complete with benches and classic and contemporary Disney character elements.

The third project featured in the video is the new pathway connecting Avengers Campus and Cars Land at California Adventure. The corridor transitions smoothly between the two themed lands, taking on the look of a Howard Stark-era bunker on the Avengers side and transforming into a vintage Route 66 mechanic shop rest stop on the Cars Land side.
