Disney Introduces Collectible Medallions Celebrating Transportation Options
Walt Disney World has introduced collectible medallions celebrating its various transportation options. Located at the Skyliner hub at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, fans can purchase these medallions for $6 each or all four for $20. The medallions feature different icons representing the Skyliner, the three Ferryboats of the Seven Seas Lagoon (Admiral Joe Fowler, General Joe Potter, Richard F. Irvine), and the Parking Lot Trams found at the four theme parks.
The fourth medallion features Mickey Mouse on one side with a welcoming message above him. The backside of all medallions has the same design.
This is not an exhaustive collection, as collectors are led to believe that more transportation-themed medallions will appear at other locations throughout Walt Disney World in the future.
