Disney Introduces Virtual Queue for New Hollywood Studios Attraction
The Magic of Disney Animation is set to open on September 14, 2026, at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios.
This new attraction invites guests into a fictional version of Disney's animation offices after hours. Inside, visitors can enjoy multiple offerings, including the Once Upon a Studio short film and character greetings with their favorite Disney stars.
The highlight of this experience is Olaf Draws!, a free drawing class hosted by an Audio-Animatronics figure of Olaf from Frozen, along with a prerecorded video of a real animator or director from Walt Disney Animation Studios. In this class, guests can learn how to draw their favorite Disney characters.
To manage demand and crowd flow, the Olaf Draws! virtual queue will be implemented upon opening. Unlike most virtual queues, which require joining through the My Disney Experience app, guests must physically visit Olaf Draws! in person to join the waitlist. Once added, they will receive a return time for later that day when it's their turn.
