Disney Issues Weather Alert Ahead of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Walt Disney World has issued an urgent weather alert ahead of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, warning guests about potential rain and thunderstorms during the separately ticketed event. The policy explains what to expect if inclement weather moves into the Magic Kingdom.

Rain will not shut down the party, but thunderstorms or lightning can cause some attractions to temporarily close, outdoor entertainment to be affected, and entertainment schedules to change without notice. Trick-or-treat locations will remain open throughout most weather events.

The policy also notes that while ordinary rain won't disrupt the event, lightning can quickly change the night's entertainment schedule. Disney is encouraging guests to stay flexible and monitor attraction availability through the My Disney Experience app.
