Disney Joins $4 Billion Club with Help from Toy Story 5 and Devil Wears Prada 2
Disney has become the second Hollywood studio to reach $4 billion at the global box office in 2026, following Universal's achievement earlier this month. This milestone is largely due to the success of two films: Pixar's Toy Story 5 and 20th Century Studios' The Devil Wears Prada 2.
To date, Toy Story 5 has grossed $1.1 billion worldwide, with $470.7 million coming from North America and $624 million from international markets. It currently ranks as the third highest-grossing Hollywood release of the year so far.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 has more than doubled the original film's lifetime global box office, earning $691 million. The comedy has also brought in $220 million in North America and $471 million internationally, pushing the franchise past $1 billion worldwide.
