Disney+ Lands Kingdom Hearts Series in Partnership With Square Enix
The highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts series is making its way to Disney+ after Walt Disney Studios announced a new project in partnership with Square Enix and video game creator Tetsuya Nomura.
The upcoming series will re-imagine the iconic adventure with a brand-new story that expands on the Kingdom Hearts universe while celebrating beloved characters from around the world.
Ayo Davis, president of Disney Kids & Family, expressed excitement about bringing the unique blend of adventure and imagination to life in a new way. The project joins a growing slate of original animated series for Disney+, which includes Dragon Striker, Phineas and Ferb, Big City Greens, and more.
