Disney Legends Cavalcade Set for D23 Fan Convention at Disneyland
Disneyland is gearing up for its annual D23 fan convention, which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 to 16. One of the highlights of this year's event is the Disney Legends Cavalcade, a parade that will bring together some of the most iconic figures in Disney history.
The cavalcade will feature a lineup of Disney and Pixar characters, as well as select Disney Legends who have made significant contributions to Disney films, TV shows, music, and theme parks. The Disney Legend award is given to artists, actors, voice actors, songwriters, musicians, broadcasters, directors, producers, executives, and Walt Disney Imagineers.
This year's D23 fan convention will feature eight Disney Legends, including Jodi Benson, who voiced Ariel in 'The Little Mermaid', and Don Hahn, a producer on several classic Disney films. The event will also see the induction of 11 new Disney Legends at an awards ceremony on Sunday, August 16.
