Disney Magic Animation Attraction Unveiled Ahead of September 14th Debut

The Magic of Disney Animation attraction is now complete at Disney's Hollywood Studios and will open on September 14. The new version of an opening day attraction offers a unique experience for guests, featuring various animation classes, interactive elements, and classic film-inspired art.

Upon entering the attraction, guests will see statues of Disney characters holding an 'Open House' banner. Inside the Once Upon a Studio Theater, they'll be able to watch the Once Upon a Studio short film that inspires the entire experience. Images from classic films on the wall will come to life.

The Olaf Draws! animation class experience is one of the highlights of the attraction. Guests can participate in real-time drawing sessions hosted by an animatronic Olaf, with pre-recorded segments featuring real animators. The papers used for drawing feature 'The Magic of Disney Animation' and an image of the Roy E. Disney Animation Building.

The Drawn to Wonderland playground is inspired by Mary Blair's Alice in Wonderland art, while Off the Page! allows guests to meet characters like Mulan in front of backdrops based on different animation departments. A social media video showcases a bird's-eye view of the building from Tinker Bell's point of view.
