Disney On Ice Brings Spotlight Magic to South Florida this Fall
Disney On Ice presents Spotlight Magic is now showing at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. The show features seven performances packed with Disney characters, villains, and fan-favorite stories. Zander Neilsen, a Disney On Ice performer, said that this year's show includes a mix of classic and newer Disney franchises.
The production arrives as South Florida families look for indoor entertainment options ahead of the busy fall event season. The show combines live skating, theatrical effects, and recognizable Disney characters to create an immersive experience for audiences. Neilsen showcased some of the costumes audiences will see during the performances, including wardrobe pieces inspired by 'Beauty and the Beast'.
The villain-themed costumes are also customized to match different Disney characters. For example, Maleficent has wings and Ursula has long skirts that resemble being underwater. The show includes appearances from characters inspired by 'Tangled', 'Beauty and the Beast', and 'Zootopia', as well as Toy Story and Monsters Inc.
