Disney Partners with YouTube's Dhar Mann Studios on 20-Episode Deal
The Walt Disney Company has signed a major deal with Dhar Mann Studios, a YouTube-based studio that produces original dramatic content for children, teens, and families. The deal covers an initial 20-episode order, which will see Dhar Mann Studios create consent-focused shows.
Dhar Mann Studios currently has over 27 million subscribers, with its videos receiving millions of views per video. The studio's work has built a loyal following, and Disney is looking to tap into this audience.
Disney's Chief Marketing and Brand Officer, Asad Ayaz, said: 'Dhar has built a distinctive voice and an enormous global following, with stories that are uniquely his own.' He added: 'He and his team have forged an extraordinary connection with their audience, and we believe their optimistic, deeply relatable storytelling will connect in a meaningful way with Disney fans.'
