Disney Posts Record Q3 Revenues Driven by IP, Theme Parks, Streaming
The Walt Disney Company has reported solid financial results for its third quarter ended June 27, 2026. The company's total revenues grew by 7% year-over-year to $25.248 billion, up from $23.650 million in Q3 FY25.
This growth was driven by investments in core intellectual property (IP), strong theme park attendance, and expanding streaming viewership. Disney's Entertainment segment saw a 6% increase in revenue to $11.345 billion, while the Experiences segment saw a 10% rise to $9.968 million.
The company's film division was boosted by the success of 'Toy Story 5', which has surpassed $1 billion in global box office earnings and brought the franchise's total lifetime box office to over $4 billion. Disney also reported strong numbers for 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' internationally.
The company's Indian joint venture with Reliance Industries, JioStar, saw a significant reduction in losses, narrowing to $44 million for the quarter ended June 27 compared to $50 million in the prior-year period. Disney expects Q4 total segment operating income of approximately $4.9 billion and is targeting at least $9 billion in share repurchases in fiscal 2026.
