Disney Q3 Results Boosted by 'Toy Story 5' and US Theme Parks Strength
Disney's third quarter results showed a solid performance, driven by the success of movies like 'Toy Story 5' and continued strength from its US theme parks.
The Experiences division, which includes Disney's six global theme parks, cruise line, merchandise, and video game licensing, reported operating income climbed 20% to $3.02 billion and revenue totaled $9.97 billion for the three months ended June 27.
The company earned $2.64 billion, or $1.51 per share, which easily topped analysts' predictions of $1.86 per share. Revenue rose 7% to $25.25 billion, meeting expectations on Wall Street.
