Disney Removes Fireworks from Magic Kingdom After Hours Event

Walt Disney World has removed its After Hours fireworks offering at Magic Kingdom for 2027. The event, which provides shorter wait times for popular rides with a limited park capacity, now excludes the nighttime spectacular Disney Enchantment from its lineup. This is despite an increase in ticket prices from $175 to $209.

Disney Enchantment was previously performed exclusively during After Hours events at Magic Kingdom Park and featured a tribute to Disney World history, including audio from Roy O. Disney's 1971 dedication speech. The show transitioned into highlights from Disney films old and new, encouraging the audience with the message: 'You are the magic.'

Disney After Hours returns to Magic Kingdom on select nights from January 11 through July 19, 2027. Tickets range from $189 to $209, depending on the date.
