Disney Replaces Tabasco with Tapatío at Magic Kingdom's Pecos Bill
Disney has been making changes to its condiments across various theme parks. Recently, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom replaced Tabasco with Tapatío as its hot sauce option.
Tapatío offers a thicker consistency and a different balance of flavor and heat compared to the original red sauce used by Tabasco, which is made from distilled vinegar, red peppers, and salt.
This change follows Disney's partnership with Kraft Heinz, which has led to new condiment dispensers appearing across Disney destinations. While Tapatío doesn't belong to Heinz, they have a distribution relationship.
In the bigger picture, Frontierland is undergoing significant transformations with projects like Piston Peak National Park and Disney Villains Land on the horizon.
