Disney Replaces Tabasco with Tapatío in Walt Disney World Restaurants
Walt Disney World has quietly replaced Tabasco sauce packets in its restaurants with Tapatío hot sauce packets. This change is part of a larger effort to upgrade condiment options across the resort, which began after the announcement of a partnership between Kraft Heinz and Disney in July.
The new Heinz condiment dispensers have started appearing at various locations throughout the Disney properties, including Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line. At ABC Commissary in Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests can now find Tapatío packets alongside other condiments.
Tapatío has a distinct flavor profile compared to Tabasco, with a thicker consistency and a balance of heat and flavor that is different from the sharp, vinegar-forward taste of Tabasco.
The change may not be immediately noticeable for most guests, but it reflects Disney's ongoing efforts to enhance its dining experiences.
