Disney Reveals Concept Art for New Lakeshore Lodge Hotel Near Magic Kingdom
A highly anticipated Disney hotel is taking shape in Florida. The Lakeshore Lodge, set to open in summer 2027, will be a Disney Vacation Club hotel located close to Magic Kingdom.
The hotel's design takes inspiration from Walt Disney Animation Studios' Pocahontas, with a lobby featuring floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Wetlands outdoor recreation area. The space is meant to blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment, with local flora and fauna incorporated into the architecture and decor.
The hotel will also feature Dandelion Terrace, a lounge with a two-story gallery showcasing archival artwork from Disney classics like Fantasia. The lounge's whimsical dandelion light fixtures provide soft lighting throughout the space, which offers sweeping views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks display.
